Dancing Blade
A skill based 2D platformer where you must maneuver yourself through the air by dancing.
Rearrange your dance moves to create your own dance sequences, which you can use to clear levels.
Controls:
Arrow keys to move
SPACE + Arrow key to dance
Dance moves:
Forward Swing- the dancer slashes the air, propelling them forwards
Whirlpool - the dancer spins upwards, gaining vertical momentum
Dash - The dancer dashes to a direction specified by ARROW KEYS or WASD
Wall Slash - (CAN ONLY BE USED WHEN CLOSE TO A WALL AND FACING IT) The dancer slashes against a wall, propelling them away from the wall

Mechanic is a great idea, but implementation is a bit off; certain dashes like the up-left dash is a little finicky but otherwise good game
you can't start from the ground which sucks
and the arrow keys are a little broken-- specifically the up-left dash
and why is the conditional move a necessary part: like you have to do it even if you can't
Why the game-play is Stupid
it feels good to dance.
Loved it, really brilliant mecchanics and fun to play. Love to see a full release with a game :D good job

Absolutely brilliant! I'm trying to think of any cons but really the concept is there and the idea was executed very well... I would love to see this game fully developed into what it can become, due to the great idea, graphics and controls. Good job!!!! =]

This is a great game! The only problem that I encountered was that the spike hitboxes are larger than they appear to be. I like the tight controls and difficulty. The core mechanic was very unique!

We made it hard towards the end to highlight the rearranging skills mechanic, and to prevent the player from just using the same original sequence to complete the game. Glad you enjoyed it!

Hello, thanks for trying the game out! Happy that you enjoyed it. As for the final level, it's actually possible but you need to rearrange your moves to the right sequence to complete it.
The sequence is: Whirlpool > Wall Slash > Dash > Forward Swing
